OpenCity.in conducted a survey to understand the state of bus shelters in Bengaluru Urban. The goal was to get an idea of the presence of bus shelters for BMTC stops, and where present, the condition of these bus shelters, and if buses actually stop at these shelters.

The survey was conducted through a whatsapp bot, where people waiting at a bus stop could send a ‘hi’ to a number and answer a set of questions about the bus stop and the access to shelters at the stop.

The survey has garnered 56 responses so far and the results of the survey can be seen in the map below.
